At the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Grand Prix tournament held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, Armenian representative David Hovhannisyan took the second place in the weight category up to 96 kg with 370 kg (170+200).
David Hovhannisyan became a gold medalist in the snatch exercise and a bronze medalist in the push-up exercise.
The winner Shahzadbek Matyakubov (Turkmenistan) scored 371 kg (167+204) in doubles.
