Nair Tiknizyan to play for Armenia national football squad

FC Lokomotiv Moscow defender Nair Tiknizyan will play for the Armenian national football team.

Before joining FC Lokomotiv, the 23-year-old footballer played at CSKA Moscow and FC Avangard Kursk.

Commenting on his decision, Tiknizyan spoke to the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) official website.

“I am grateful to the Football Federation of Armenia for this chance. I will try to prove that I can help Armenian national team. It was my initiative to make this decision,” he said. 

UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying round match between Armenia and Turkey will take place on March 25 in Yerevan. 
And Armenian national team manager Oleksandr Petrakov has announced the list of players abroad who are invited to take part in the upcoming training camp. They are:
