Members of FC Barcelona have voted in favor of the decision to take a EUR 1,500,000,000 loan to fund the Espai Barca, the Catalonian football club’s press service reports. The project was supported by 87.8% of members.
Espai Barca features architectural reconstruction of Camp Nou, as well as reconstruction of Miniestadi football stadium and Palau Blaugrana.
New stores and restaurants will open, the administrative sector and museum of the football club will be rebuilt.
The loan is expected to be granted by Goldman Sachs Bank.
