Former member of the Morocco football team Medhi Benatia, 34, has ended his professional career and posted about this on his Instagram.
Benatia’s last football club was the Turkish Fatih Karagumruk. He has also played for Marseille, Tours, Lorient, Clermont, Udinese, Roma, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Al-Duhail.
Between 2008 and 2019, Benatia played for Morocco, scoring 2 goals in 66 matches.
