Yura Avetisyan, who has ended his football career and is an ambassador of the Football Federation of Armenia in North America, has arrived in Stockholm where the Armenia national team is preparing for the friendly match with Sweden (one of the participants of UEFA Euro 2020).
In 2018, Movsisyan played for Sweden’s Jurgorden. Between 2010 and 2018, he scored 14 goals during 38 games.
On June 5, the Armenia national team will play a friendly match with the Swedish team at Friends Arena Stadium in Stockholm (the game is set to kick off at 10:45 p.m. Armenia time).
On June 1, the Armenia national team also played a friendly match with the world’s current vice-champion Croatia national team in Velika Gorica and ended the match with a tie (1-1). In the 72nd minute, midfielder for Ararat-Armenia Wbeimar Angulo scored the Armenia national team’s response goal with a beautiful kick.
The Armenia national team has now won 9 matches under the leadership of Joaquin Caparros.
