Brazil’s Charles Oliveira became the UFC lightweight champion after beating American Michael Chandler with a knockout in the second round of the main event of UFC 262.
Nobody had scored the championship belt in the UFC lightweight category after Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement.
Charles Oliveira, 31, has scored 31 victories and suffered 8 defeats in mixed martial art, while 35-year-old Chandler has won 22 duels and suffered 6 defeats.
