World’s former sixth racket Carla Suarez-Navarro, 32, reported on social networks that she has won her battle against cancer. The tennis player was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in the fall of 2020.
Suarez-Navarro wrote that she will undergo another checkup in three months and thanked her family, friends, acquaintances and her doctors.
Suarez-Navarro has scored two titles at the WTA tournaments.
