President of the United States Donald Trump suggested that the Tokyo Olympics have to be postponed to 2021 due to coronavirus outbreak, Reuters reported.
Trump argued that postponing Olympics for a year is better than empty seats during the competitions.
However, Trump said he would not officially make that recommendation to Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who could make his own decision.
The opening of Tokyo Olympic Games is set for July 24.
