Arsenal boss says they will consider Mkhitaryan return to club

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta did not rule out Armenian international and Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s return to the English club at the end of the current season.

“I always liked him,” said Arsenal’s head coach, Goal.com reported. “He is the kind of player who can fit in any team when he is at his best, he needs to do it consistently and that's what we need to assess.

“It's [his return to Arsenal] a possibility that we have and will consider.”

Mkhitaryan, 31, is currently on a season long loan with Roma since the summer of 2019.

In his 17 matches so far in the Italian club, the Armenian footballer has scored 6 goals and made 3 assists.

Earlier it became known that because of financial problems, Roma might not be able to acquire Henrikh Mkhitaryan's transfer right.
