Forward for Leganes and the Danish national football team Martin Braithwaite will continue his career in FC Barcelona, reports Sky Sports.
FC Barcelona, which had previously reached an agreement with Braithwaite on the points in the footballer’s personal contract, decided not to launch talks with Leganes. FC Barcelona will pay the whole price provided for by Braithwaite’s contract (EUR 18,000,000).
FC Barcelona is expected to announce the transfer of the 28-year-old forward in a couple of hours.
This season, Braithwaite participated in 24 matches, scoring 6 goals and making 2 passes for goals.
As reported earlier, due to an injury that Ousmane Dembele received, La Liga allowed FC Barcelona to obtain a new forward in two weeks.
