Ararat-Armenia manager: It hurts when you lose like that

Ararat-Armenia FC manager Vardan Minasyan congratulated Dudelange on their victory and entering the UEFA Europa League group stage.

“Congratulations to Dudelange. We have done a great job. I thanked the guys in the locker room. A penalty shootout is a lottery. It hurts when you lose like that. It’s a pity that we could not advance to the group stage,” Minasyan said after the match.

Dudelange beat Ararat-Armenia 2-1 (3-3 on aggregate), and the match went into extra-time. Both teams failed to score in extra time. The Armenian club lost penalty shootout 4-5.
