Slaven Bilić has been appointed head coach of West Bromwich with the objective to help the team return to the Premier League.
“I am charmed by this opportunity. The team wants to progress and return to the Premier League. I immediately accepted the offer,” Bilić said, reports West Bromwich’s website.
The football club that Bilić previously coached was Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad Club. Throughout his career, Bilić, 50, has also headed the teams of Croatia, Moscow, Istanbul, the UK and the Croatian national football team.
