Azerbaijan reacts to Russian sports commentator’s answer of visiting Stepanakert during interview with NEWS.am Sport

Azerbaijani press did not miss Russian NTV Plus television’s sports commentator Konstantin Genich’s interview given to NEWS.am Sport, during which, in response to the question as to whether he had ever been to Armenia, Genich responded by saying that two years ago he had visited Stepanakert, capital of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).     

The Azerbaijani Zerkalo, Azerisport, Day.az and other periodicals quickly recalled that any foreign national who visits the NKR without official Baku’s permission can no longer enter Azerbaijan.
