EURO 2020: Armenia manager comments on defeat from Finland

Armenia’s manager Armen Gyulbudaghyants commented on the defeat from Finland 0-2 in the second match of EURO 2020 qualifying round, NEWS.am Sport correspondent reported.

"We made mistakes which led to two goals. We could not use our scoring chances.

I am pleased with some aspects of the game of my team, but overall I am dissatisfied.

As for Artur Sarkisov, he is a good player but we decided to invite Edgar Babayan instead of him.

I also want to give a chance to Alik Araqelyan. Petros Avetisyan has a high potential.

Our purpose is to show good result and to make our people happy", Armen Gyulbudaghyants noted.

Armenian national football team suffered the second defeat within the EURO 2020 qualifying round. Armenia’s national squad suffered 1-2 defeat from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first round of EURO 2020 qualifying round. Armenia suffered the second defeat (0-2) from Finland.

Armenia will face Liechtenstein in the next match that will take place in Yerevan on June 8.
