Armenia manager: Finland play good football

By David Yeghiazaryan

Armenia's manager Armen Gyulbudaghyants spoke about the second match of the EURO 2020 qualifying round against Finland at the pre-match press conference in Yerevan, NEWS.am Sport correspondent reported.

He noted that Finnish team differs from what they actually thought.

"The Finnish team has made a lot of progress in the recent period. They play good football and there is not much difference between the Finns and Bosnians. In any case, the styles of games are different."

The Armenian manager noted that Armenian football has a great potential. It is necessary to give the players confidence in their strength.

"Yura Movsisyan will not be announced for the upcoming game either. Aram Hayrapetyan played well in the previous match. Karlen Mkrtchyan had little practice, but he also did a great job, as well as Gevorg Ghazaryan.

Due to dedication, we managed to compensate the lack of playing practice. In response to the words of the coach of the Finnish national team, I will say that we will enter the field with great desire. The main thing is to be able to please our nation.

Varazdat Aroyan had the character of a fighter, he had a fever before the game, but he managed to overcome all the difficulties and play.

As for Balekyan, I will say that footballers from South America have problems with adaptation. I think he did a good job in the match against the Bosnians.

I always try to give young people a chance. We will gradually move in this direction. But this process should not be artificial.

We will decide on the composition tomorrow when we understand who is ready for the game. We hope that tomorrow we will be able to achieve victory, ”noted Armen Gyulbudaghyants.

Armenia will face Finland in the next match on March 26 in Yerevan.

It should be noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Armenia 1-2 in the first match of EURO 2020 qualifying
