LONDON. – London’s Queens Park Rangers (QPR) English midfielder Joey Barton, 29, is poised to join Marseille on a season-long loan, Daily Mail informs.
To note, Barton, who is known for his scandalous conduct, is suspended for 12 games in England after his dismissal against Manchester City at the end of last season and fight against the other team’s players on the way to the locker rooms.
As a result, Joey Barton was stripped of QPR captaincy and is training with the Fourth Division club Fleetwood Town.
