FC Barcelona midfielder and captain Andrés Iniesta said he will continue his professional football career either in Japan or in China. “I must make a decision that is one of the most important that I will have taken,” the 33-year-old player of the Spanish national squad told Onda Cero.
“There are two scenarios—China and Japan—each with its own things. We have to put everything in the balance and decide what is best. “Next week I hope to give an answer and focus on the [upcoming 2018 FIFA] World Cup [in Russia].”
Earlier it became known that Andrés Iniesta, who has spent his entire professional football career at Barça, will part ways with the Catalan giants at the end of this season.
