Sporting director of Slovakian Žilina, Karol Belaník, has commented on the transfer of midfielder of Armenian National U19 Football Team Vahan Bichakhchyan from Gyumri’s Shirak.
“In May we attended the final of the Armenian Cup. Since then we exerted every effort for Bichakhchyan’s transfer. He had serious offers but he decided to join us. Vahan chose the career instead of money.
We have acquired Bichakhchyan for the future and thus insisted on the contract to be signed for a lengthy period. He should get used to this team. Vahan is a very gifted player, on whom we pin great hopes. It is no coincidence that he was included in the list of top 60 gifted footballers of the world,” Belanik said, sportky.zoznam.sk reports.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who signed a 5-year contract with the club, will play under number 18.
