Armenia captures 2 bronze in Poland

Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestlers won two bronze medals in the second day of the Cadet European Wrestling Championships being held in Katowice, Poland.

Taron Dumanyan (54 kg) lost to his Azerbaijani opponent in the semifinals, but he defeated his Hungarian challenger in the bronze-medal match.

And Tigran Abrahamyan (63 kg) lost against his German opponent in the quarterfinals, but he achieved two victories in the bronze-medal match.

Separately, Artur Simonyan (46 kg) and Harutyun Mikaelyan (76) became fifth in their respective weight categories. 

To note, Armenia had won two gold and two silver medals in the first day of the tournament.
