Bayern Munich newcomer sets 2 transfer records

Midfielder Corentin Tolisso transferred from Olympique Lyonnais (France) to FC Bayern Munich, and thus becoming the most expensive acquisition in the history of this German football club.

The signing of the 22-year-old French international totaled €41.5 million.

To note, Tolisso set a transfer deal record also for Lyon, as this French club had never sold a player for this amount of money.

In 2014, however, Transfermarkt had assessed his transfer value at €500 thousand, whereas €17 million—in the year past.
