Brazil’s richest man assumes all rights for use of Neymar’s name

PARIS. – Brazilian national football team and FC Santos striker Neymar signed a contract with Brazilian businessman Eike Batista.

According to the contract, the IMX Talent Company will assume all rights for the use of 20-year-old footballer’s name during and after his playing career.   

The business deal’s financial part is not publicized, but it will not hinder Neymar’s already-signed sponsorship deals with Nike, Red Bull, and Panasonic.

Eike Batista is Brazil’s most influential person. The businessman is involved in mountain and oil industries, and his net wealth is estimated to be worth US$ 30 billion, L’Équipe writes.
