Real Madrid opens academy in Cameroon

Representatives of Real Madrid visited Cameroon to launch a new project which is aimed at opening a football academy in the country.

The construction of the academy building is underway and will be over soon. Real plans to develop football in Africa and provide children and youth with an opportunity to reach progress in the academy of the Madrid club.

Classes will open early September at the football academy, Goal.com reports. Over 100 children from Madrid will visit Cameroon to train football to learn about over a dozen collaboration initiatives in the country, the foundation said in a statement.
