Armenian squad head coach: I believed

Head coach of the Armenian team, Arthur Poghosyan, commented on the comeback victory against Montenegro in the framework of the fourth round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

“I believed. Thanks to the guys for gifting happiness to our nation. During the break the atmosphere was calm in the changing room. We made several tactical shifts. We dominated for 80 minutes. I think when the score reached 0-2, the guys realized they had nothing to lose and began acting more bravely. This is a team victory and not that of Arthur Sargsyan.

Montenegro is a very literate and disciplined team, but we were able to achieve victory. We must move forward step-by-step,” Petrosyan notyed.

Montenegro lost to Armenia 2-3 in Yerevan Friday. For Arthur Petrosyan this was the first match as the head coach of the Armenian squad.
