The Armenian men’s national team beat Poland in Friday’s Round 7 at the 2015 European Team Chess Championship which is held in Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.
As a result, Armenia’s men have garnered 10 points, and climbed to fourth place after seven rounds.
Armenia’s women, on the other hand, played a draw with Azerbaijan in this round.
The Armenian women’s national chess team have 8 points after Round 7 in this tournament.
In Saturday’s penultimate Round 8, Armenia’s men will face the current leaders, Russia, while the women will play against Austria.
