YEREVAN. – Samvel Badalyan (62 kg), representing Armenia, won a bronze medal on the last day of the Sambo World Cup Anatoly Kharlampiev Memorial Tournament held in the Russian capital city of Moscow. Overall, Armenia won one gold and three bronze medals in this tournament, informed the Armenian Sambo Federation.
To note, Armenia’s Vahe Otaryan (52 kg) and Aren Antonyan (57 kg) also had captured third place in their respective weight classes, whereas Ashot Danielyan, who hails from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic capital city of Stepanakert, was the tournament winner in the 90 kg weight category.
