IOC president arrives in Yerevan

YEREVAN. – President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach and head of European Olympic Committee Patrick Hickey have arrived Yerevan.

The guests were welcomed by Armenia's National Olympic Committee president Gagik Tsarukuan at Zvartnot airport.

First they will visit presidential residence for a meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan that will be followed by a reception organized by National Olympic Committee and Sport Ministry.

During the second day of the visit, Bach and Hickey will attend the opening of a monument to Olympic champion Hrant Shahinyan.
