Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian will face GM Fabiano Caruana (Italy) in Saturday’s final Round 10 at the Sinquefield Cup chess tournament which is wrapping up in Saint Louis, USA. After nine rounds, Aronian—who is second in the World Chess Federation (FIDE) rankings and who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the former World Team Chess champions Armenia—has tallied 3.5 points, whereas Caruana leads the tournament with 8 points. The first game between the two GMs had ended in a victory for the Italian chess master.
All matches will get underway at 11pm Armenia time.
