YEREVAN. – Armenian Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian, who is second in the World Chess Federation (FIDE) rankings, underwent a nose surgery at Erebuni Medical Center in capital city Yerevan.
Aronian, who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the previous World Team Chess champions Armenia, posted a respective photograph on his Twitter account and tweeted:
“Big thanks to Erebouni Hospital Dr.Shukuryan&his wonderful team for successful nose surgery! Can finally breath again.”
