Atlético Madrid to wear black armbands in connection with “Khojaly events”

The Atlético Madrid footballers will wear black armbands during their Spanish La Liga matches against CA Osasuna and FC Real Madrid.     

The Atlético players will wear these armbands in connection with the “Khojaly massacre” commemoration day claimed by the Azerbaijani government, Trend.az reports.   

In addition, Turkish international and Atlético midfielder Arda Turan and several other Atlético players will be shot in videos which will be posted on the official website of the Spanish club.  

The Azerbaijani government is the title sponsor of Atlético Madrid.
