YEREVAN. – The Armenian national football team returned to capital city Yerevan from Prague, where they had defeated the Czech Republic in a 2014 World Cup qualifier match, by a score of 2-1.
Now, the squad will prepare for its next qualifier game, as they will play host to Denmark on September 10.
The “heroes of the day” received a warm welcome at Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport.
Numerous fans had come to the airport in the late hours of the evening to welcome the Armenian national team players, informs the NEWS.am Sport reporter.
