Chess World Cup: Armenia’s representatives gear up for second matches

The second matches of Round 1 in the Chess World Cup 2013, which has kicked off in Tromsø, Norway, will be played on Monday. 

Armenia is competing at the tournament with four representatives: Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian—who is ranked World No. 2 in the FIDE ratings—, and GMs Vladimir Akopian, Sergei Movsesian, and Hrant Melkumyan.  

Two games will be played in each stage of the tournament, and four matches, each, will be played in the final.
