Movsisyan’s superb goal saves Russian club from defeat

FC Kuban Krasnodar played host to FC Spartak Moscow in the fourth round of the current season in the Russian Premier League football.  

The match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Armenian national team and Spartak forward Yura Movsisyan, and Armenian national squad and Spartak midfielder Aras Ozbilis were not in the starting eleven of their club. But Spartak did manage to achieve a one-goal advantage in the first half.

Ozbilis entered the pitch in the 61st minute, but Kuban netted two quick goals.  

Movsisyan, however, who entered the game in the 71st minute, came to Spartak’s aid.

Four minutes after being substituted in, the Armenian international scored his team’s second goal with a wonderful strike, and thus determined the final outcome of the match.
