Mircea Lucescu proud to raise Mkhitaryan to Borussia level

Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Mircea Lucescu is proud that under his leadership three players of Ukrainian team – Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Willian and Fernandinho – have reached the level of European leading European clubs and are signed for tens of millions of euro.

“For us it’s a big success. Because we took talented players, and we worked and created extra value. Now they have arrived at the level that the big teams want to have these players. I hope that in future they will become important players.

In case of Willian and Fernandinho – for Brazil national team; and Mkhitaryan, who now plays for Borussia Dortmund, I think, is an excellent, fantastic player! And I am very proud of it, because I contributed to bringing them up,” the club’s official website quotes Lucescu.
