Popular German tabloid Bild organized voting to choose a nickname for Borussia newcomer Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Since his arrival to Dortmund, Mkhitaryan’s name has become a real problem for the German reporters and commentators. Which is right Mücktarian or Miktarihan?
Not trying to learn the right pronunciation, which in fact is quite easy for German language, they decided to choose a nickname for Mkhitaryan. The first variant is Micki, the second – Mücke which is translated from German as a “mosquito”.
Bild.de offers the visitors to choose one of the variants to pun an end to the problem.
