Separately, GM Hovik Hayrapetyan garnered 4.5 points after six rounds at the open being held in Barcelona, Spain.
Hayrapetyan is one point behind the current leader, GM Cristian Cruz (Peru).
GM Karen Grigoryan, on the other hand, has 4 points so far.
