Borussia Dortmund has confirmed intention of signing an Armenian national’s midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The player is expected to sign a four-year contract with the club.
“Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA (hereafter 'Borussia Dortmund') and FC Shakhtar Donetsk have agreed the transfer to Borussia Dortmund of Armenian national team player 'Henrikh Mkhitaryan', born on 21 January 1989 (hereafter 'player'). Borussia Dortmund and the player have reached a general agreement on the economic terms and conditions for a professional player employment contract with a term until 30 June 2017. Details are still to be agreed,” the official statement reads.
