Armenian U19 women handballers to head to Austria

YEREVAN. – The U19 women’s national handball team will head to Austria on Wednesday to take part in the European Championship qualifier.

Armenia is in Group 5, where it will compete against Austria, the Netherlands, and Bulgaria.

Team coaches Astghik Gyurjinyan and Anahit Harutyunyan informed that although their opponents are strong, the Armenian handballers are determined to play well and get through.   

The team will also comprise three athletes from France, but they will join their teammates in Austria.   

Armenia’s U19 women handballers will debut in this European tournament, Armhandball.am reports.
