YEREVAN. – On Monday, the strongest Sambo wrestlers of Armenia will head to Stepanakert, the capital city of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, where Armenia’s Men’s Sambo Championship will be held.
The Sambo Federation of Armenia frequently organizes such athletic events outside Armenian capital city Yerevan, to further popularize and promote Sambo, the federation informs.
The weighing-in of the athletes, the consultation meeting of the judges, and the making of the draws will be held on Monday, and the competitions will take place on Tuesday.
