Ronaldo: This is probably my last year

The forward for the Portuguese national team and Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr Cristiano Ronaldo has acknowledged that the current season could be the last of his professional career. He has once again been called up to the national team.

"It is possible that this is my last season. I cannot say for sure. If my body and mind allow it, anything can happen. If I am in top form, anything is possible. I have shown, both at the club and national team levels, that I am still scoring goals," Goal.com quotes Ronaldo as saying.

The 41-year-old Portuguese player has scored 979 goals in his career.

In the first round of the Nations League group stage, Portugal will face Wales on September 24.
