Edgar Sevikyan moved to Spain

The 25-year-old midfielder for the Armenian national team Edgar Sevikyan has moved on loan to the Spanish club Ceuta, which competes in the second division (La Liga 2). His transfer rights are held by the Hungarian club Ferencvaros.

"FC Ceuta has reached an agreement with Ferencvaros regarding the transfer of footballer Edgar Sevikyan, who will play for Ceuta on loan until the end of the season.

Edgar Sevikyan (born August 8, 2001, in Moscow, Russia) is a player with a distinct attacking style; he is capable of playing both as a right winger and as an attacking midfielder. He stands out for his excellent shooting, particularly from mid- and long-range, as well as his remarkable vision and ability to provide assists.

The new "Ceuta" player brings experience from both domestic and international competitions. He represented Russia at the youth level and later played for the Armenian national team. He also possesses experience in European competitions, adding valuable expertise to "Ceuta's" sporting project.

After coming through the ranks of "Levante's" youth setup, Sevikyan continued his career outside Spain before moving to Hungarian football, where he spent a portion of his career.

Thus, Ceuta acquires a talented player with technical skills and the ability to create danger in the final third, someone arriving at the 'Alfonso Murube' to showcase his game and help the team achieve its objectives for the remainder of the season.

Last season, Edgar Sevikyan played on loan for the Russian club Akron.

In the first three rounds of the current season, Ceuta has suffered three defeats with a goal difference of 1:10 and sits in last place.
