USA have advanced to the Round of 16 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Americans defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 in their Round of 32 match in Santa Clara, USA.
Monaco forward Folarin Balogun opened the scoring in the 45th minute. But in the 64th minute, he was sent off for stepping on an opponent's foot.
And Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Malik Tillman netted the USA's second goal in the 80th minute.
In the Round of 16, USA will face Belgium, who earlier eliminated Senegal 3-2 in the Round of 32.
