The president of the Boxing Federation of Armenia, Hovhannes Hovsepyan, recapped the results of 2025 and sent a congratulatory message on the upcoming New Year.
"The big family of Armenian boxing, with our joint efforts, 2025 will remain in the history of Armenian boxing as a year of successes and historical achievements. Thanks to our joint work, dedication and unwavering will, we won 78 medals at the World and European Championships this year, recording the best result of all time.
The year was memorable also organizationally. The U23 and Youth European Championships were held [in Armenia] at the highest level, where we also recorded historical results, once again upholding the honor of Armenian sports and boxing.
I am confident that in the near future as well we will spare no effort and energy to bring new victories, new medals, and new moments of pride to the homeland," the president of the Boxing Federation of Armenia wrote, in particular, on Facebook.
