Armenia’s representative is 50th

The 11th FINA (International Swimming Federation) World Swimming Championships (25m) kicked off Wednesday in Istanbul, Turkey.

 Anahit Barseghyan, Monica Vasilyan, and Vahan Mkhitaryan are representing Armenia at the event.On the first day of competitions, Anahit Barseghyan came in fiftieth in the 100m backstroke qualifications, with a time of 1:05.71, from among 67 participants. Barseghyan will also compete in 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly.  Monica Vasilyan and Vahan Mkhitaryan, on the other hand, both will swim at the 50m and 100m freestyle races.
