Last season’s runner-up Barcelona hosted reigning champions Real Madrid and achieved a 4-3 in Round 35 of Spanish La Liga football.
Real French striker Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the 5th minute, converting a penalty. Mbappe netted his second goal in the 14th minute.
Barca’s Spanish defender Eric Garcia reduced the goal deficit in the 19th minute. The Catalan club and Spain national team’s 17-year-old star winger Lamine Yamal scored in the 32nd minute. And Barca’s Brazilian striker Raphinha scored in the 34th and 45th minutes, making the score 4-2.
Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick in the 70th minute.
With three rounds remaining in the current La Liga season, Barcelona are atop the standings, with 82 points, and are seven points ahead of Real in second place.
