European weightlifting champion Aleksandra Grigoryan (Armenia) won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Youth and Junior Championships being held in Lima, Peru.
In the women’s 55kg competition, Grigoryan lifted 88 kilograms in the Snatch. In the Clean & Jerk, Aleksandra lifted 116 kilograms and won a gold medal in this exercise. And with a combined weight of 204 kilograms, Aleksandra Grigoryan became bronze medalist at the World Youth and Junior Championships.
