Head coach of Italian champion "Inter" Milan Simone Inzaghi commented on the exit in the 1/8 finals. In the last round “Inter” defeated “Monaco” with a score of 3:0 and with 19 points took fourth place.
“I praised the team because it played eight good matches. We went on a great way. It was an extraordinary way when you consider what strong teams didn't make the top 8. The boyd have shown an incredible result.
We have big ambitions and we want to continue in the same vein,” Inzaghi was quoted as saying by UEFA's official website.
“Inter" won thanks to a hat-trick by Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez. Former Armenian national team captain and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan played the entire match for "Inter."
