Ararat-Armenia, the winners of Armenia’s football cup, were hosted by the Hungary’s Puskas Akademia in the second leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, and the Yerevan club missed the victory in the last seconds. The game ended in a 3-3 draw.
In the 8th minute, Hungarian defender Zsolt Nagy of Puskas Akademia opened the score of the match.
In the 40th minute, Ararat-Armenia's striker Artur Serobyan scored the equalizing goal.
In the 45th minute, midfielder Hovhannes Harutyunyan pushed Ararat-Armenia forward.
In the 47th minute, Zsolt Nagy netted his and Puskas Akademia’s second goal.
In the 62nd minute, Ararat-Armenia were down to ten men after Kenyan midfielder Amos Nondi received a red card.
In the 85th minute, Colombian striker Jonathan Duarte scored for Ararat-Armenia.
And in the fourth added minute, Ukrainian midfielder Artem Favorov netted Puskas Akademia's third—and equalizing—goal.
In the first leg, Ararat-Armenia had lost 0-1 at home.
Puskas Akademia will continue their Europa Conference League campaign in the qualification playoffs.
