Reigning Olympic champion Alexander Zverev has reached the third round of the Paris Games tennis tournament.
The representative of Germany met with Czech Thomas Mahach and won with the score 6:3, 7:5. The match lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes.
Alexander Zverev's opponent in the 1/8 finals will be the 63rd player of the world ranking, Australian Alexei Popyrin, who defeated the 149th player of the world, Swiss Stan Wawrinka, with the score 6:4, 7:5.
