Armenia’s representative Artur Barseghyan finished his campaign in 56th place in the swimming competition at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games being held in Paris.
A total of 79 swimmers participated in the Men's 100m Freestyle heats. Sixteen of them advanced to the semifinals, and two more athletes are reserves.
The best result, with 47.57 seconds, was recorded by Jack Alexy, who won a gold medal in the 4x100m Freestyle at the Paris Olympics as part of Team USA.
Barseghyan clocked 51.54 seconds in the heats of the 100m Freestyle.
As a result, Artur Barseghyan finished his campaign at the Paris Olympics. He had showed a result of 49.78 seconds, taking the 38th spot, in the same swimming program at the Tokyo Olympics.
