Ronaldo becomes Saudi Pro League record holder 

The 39-year-old Portuguese star striker of Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo, became the Saudi Pro League record holder for the most number of goals scored in one season. 

Ronaldo netted 35 goals in the Saudi Pro League season that just ended. 

In the last round, Al-Nassr beat Al-Ittihad 4-2 at home, and Ronaldo scored a brace.

The previous record holder was Al-Ittihad's Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah, who had netted 34 goals in the 2018/19 Saudi Pro League season.

Ronaldo has scored 46 goals and made 13 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions in the club season that just wrapped up.
